Conference ‘Workplace Equality 2021 – Workplace Proud of Diversity’, March 18 and 19, 2021, online, via Pine conference platform

The conference is part of the project ‘Work Equality for All!’ implemented by the Expanse of Gender and Media Culture – Common Zone, Lesbian Organization Rijeka “LORI”, Foundation SOLIDARNA from Croatia and Stichting Tûmba from the Netherlands, funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020) and co-financed by the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs.

Aim of the project is to contribute to creating a safe and friendly environment for LGBTIQ+ employees and employment seekers in Croatia through the implementation of evaluation and educational models and tools, knowledge exchange and encouraging cooperation between civil society organizations, unions and employers.

Conference program is envisaged as an exchange of practices as well as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between organizations that develop and implement programs, tools and research in LGBTIQ + workplace equality, and consists of thematic panel discussions, networking sessions in which organizations present their practices and breakout – expo – rooms, hosted by participating organizations.

Over 25 European organizations working in the field of LGBTIQ equality and workplace diversity will participate in the program, and the conference is expected to be attended by more than 100 representatives of civil society and employers’ organizations as well as trade unions, academic and government institutions from Croatia as well as other European countries.

Konferencija ‘Radnopravnost 2021. – Radno okruženje ponosno na raznolikost’, 18. i 19. ožujka 2021. online, putem Pine konferencijske platforme

Konfrencija je dio aktivnosti projekta ‘Radnopravnost svima!’ kojeg provode Prostor rodne i medijske kulture K-zona, Lezbijska organizacija Rijeka “LORI”, Zaklada Solidarna i Stichting Tûmba iz Nizozemske, a financira Europska unija i sufinancira Ured za udruge Vlade Republike Hrvatske.

Program se provodi s ciljem stvaranja sigurnog i prijateljskog okruženja za LGBTIQ osobe u radnim organizacijama Republike Hrvatske kroz razvoj te implementaciju evaluacijskih i edukacijskih modela i alata, razmjenu znanja te poticanje suradnje između organizacija civilnog društva, sindikata i poslodavaca te drugih dionika.

Prvi dan konferencije posvećen radu s poslodavcima i sindikatima, dok je drugi dan zamišljen kao razmjena znanja i praksi te prilika za jače povezivanje organizacija civilnog društva koje razvijaju i provode programe, alate i istraživanja u području LGBTIQ+ ravnopravnosti na radnom mjestu.

U programu konferencije će sudjelovati preko 25 organizacija koje djeluju u području LGBTIQ ravnopravnosti  i raznolikosti na radnom mjestu, a na konferenciji se očekuje više od 100 predstavnika/ca civilnog društva i organizacija poslodavaca, kao i sindikata, akademskih i vladinih institucije iz Hrvatske te drugih europskih zemalja.
